Anti-Discrimination Posters |
Dear Mayor:
The New Jersey State Law Against Discrimination states that organizations and agents which provide the public with employment, housing and public accommodations are obligated to display New Jersey’s Anti-Discrimination Posters. Failure to display the required posters is punishable by law.
Posters must be displayed in locations easily visible to all employees and applicants for employment, all prospective tenants and purchasers, all persons seeking or using the accommodations. Are your civil rights posters on employment, the Family Leave Act and public accommodations current? If not, or you do not have a poster; visit the website at http://www.njcivilrights.org/posters.html to download the current posters.
If you have any questions or concerns about this communication, please contact Deborah M. Kole, Staff Attorney, at the League, ex. 137, or at dkole@njslom.com
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
Executive Director
