Dear Mayor:

The Joint Legislative Committee on Public Employee Benefits will hold its first public meeting this evening in Clifton, New Jersey at 5:00 P.M. at Clifton High School Auditorium.

The discussion will center on pension and health benefits reform provided to State, municipal, county and school employees.

James Anzaldi, Mayor of Clifton and League executive board member will address the Committee and submit comments on behalf of the League. Several local municipal officials have registered to address the Committee as well.

This is the first opportunity afforded to mayors and other local officials to offer input into this process.
